Pressure Transmitters (PT), Flow Transmitters (FT), and Differential Pressure Transmitters (DPT/PDT) are industrial instruments that convert physical process measurements into standardized electrical signals (usually 4–20 mA) for control systems. PTs measure gage or absolute pressure, DPTs measure the pressure difference between two ports, and FTs often use DPTs to calculate flow rates.
